지구 주식회사 SERCO의 실체

예전에 유행했던 로보캅이란 영화 기억하시나요? 어떤 경찰이 죽어가는 순간에 로보트로 재 탄생해서 그는 막강한 로보트 경찰이 되는데요, 본인이 로보트인지 인간인지 헛갈리면서 살아가는 모습이더군요. 그런데 그는 어떤 임무를 수행하려는 싯점에 이런 말을 합니다. " 내게 어떤 지시가 떨어져서 그것을 하려 가야한다. 이 임무는 사정이 허용되면 하겠다" 라고 말하며 현장을 떠나는 모습입니다. 이러면 로보트가 맞는 거죠. 지시 명령이 내려지면 그것대로만 해야하니 말입니다. 그것을 지시 명령하는 실체가 서코 SERCO 라는 글로발 다국적 기업입니다. 지구의 지배권적 주식회사가 한 둘이 아니지요. 그런데 서코는 예상치 못한 강성 주식회사라고 합니다. 동영상을 보시기 바랍니다.

If you've ever seen Paul Verhoeven's 1987 film ROBOCOP, about a totally privatised future, you'll know why this Serco-produced corporate video just has to be watched. RoboCop: 'Excuse me, I have to go. Somewhere there is a crime happening.'

If nothing else these videos highlight the lack of integrity and meaning in rhetoric about democratically elected governments providing essential services; and their supposed protection of national security and the peoples' interests that those governments are elected to serve. If a trans-national fictional corporate entity is entrusted with the power, responsibility and secret/confidential information required to operate nuclear and defences services, eductional services and all the rest, then the so-called democratically elected representatives of the people are NOT even pretending to do their job.]
