PositiveID Corporation was formed on November 10, 2009 through the merger of VeriChip Corporation and Steel Vault Corporation. PositiveID provides unique health and security identification tools to protect consumers and businesses.

Positive-ID 회사는 2009년 11월 10일에 VeriChip회사가 Steel Vault회사와 합병으로 이루어진 회사이다. PositiveID회사는 수요자들과 사업들을 보호하기 위해 건강과 신분안전을 특이한 방법으로 제공하게 된다.

 

PositiveID represents the convergence of a pioneer in personal health records and the first and only FDA-cleared implantable microchip for patient identification, VeriChip, with a leader in the identity security space, Steel Vault, focused on access and security of consumers' critical data.

PositiveID회사는 개인의료 기록을 한 곳으로 집약시키는데 선구자적 역할을 맡고 있다. 그리고 그것은 처음으로 식약청(FDA)으로부터 환자신분을 확인하기 위해 몸에 넣는 것이 가능하도록 만들어진 마이크로칩이다.

 

PositiveID operates in two main divisions: HealthID and ID Security. The Company's HealthID business is further differentiated into its Human Health division and its Animal Health division.

PositiveID는 중점적으로 두 가지를 분류해서 운영한다: 건강 ID와 신분 ID이다. 회사의 건강ID 사업은 앞으로는 사람건강분야와 동물건강분야로 구별 짓게 된다.

 

HealthID focuses on bringing innovative health solutions to consumers, animals and businesses based on the company's intellectual property. Through its ID Security segment, the company offers identity theft protection and related services including credit monitoring and reporting through its NationalCreditReport.com website.

An integral part of the foundation of PositiveID is its radio-frequency identification (RFID) implantable microchip for patient identification, the VeriChip. The company's RFID microchip traces back to the events of September 11, 2001, when New York firemen wrote their badge ID numbers on their chests in case they were found injured or unconscious. It was evident there was a serious need for personal information in emergency situations and the product, modeled after a similar microchip used in pets, evolved from there. The company received FDA clearance for the microchip in October 2004.

PositiveID 설립의 필수적인 부분은 환자신분을 위하여 몸에 넣는 VeriChip인 RFID이다. 회사의 RFID 마이크로칩은 2001년 9월 11일로 거슬러 올라간다. 뉴욕의 소방대원들이 그들의 신분번호 빼지로 자신들이 부상 또는 의식 불명일 때를 위해 그들의 가슴에 달도록 하였었다. 응급상황에서 개인적인 정보를 위해 매우 필요한 것이었다. 그 후에 상품(VeriChip)은 비슷한 마이크로 칩이 애완동물에게 쓰이는데서 부터 발전된 것이다. 회사는 2004년 10월에 마이크로 칩에 대한 식약청의 승인을 받은 것이다.

VeriChip Corporation은 2005년 12월 30일에 Applied Digital Solution 회사의 자회사로 등록 했다고 VeriChip Corporation에서 발표한 내용은;(VeriChip Corporation web)   

 

"VeriChip Corporation, a subsidiary of Applied Digital (Nasdaq: ADSX), announced today that it has filed a registration statement for the initial public offering of shares of its common stock."

'베리칩 주식회사는 오늘 Applied Digital 회사와 존속(자회사)로 등록 한 것을 공포한다." 

 

"VeriChip Corporation, headquartered in Delary Beach, Florida, develope, markets and sells radio frequency identification, ...."

"베리칩 주식회사의 본부는 '플로리다 디래이 비취'에 있으며, 판매시장을 확장하는 데 있다. (목적이라고도 할 수 있음)..... "

 

Applied Digital Solutions의 자회사로 등록한 'VeriChip Corporation은 2006년 1월 10일 부터 업무를 시작한다고 하면서;

 

"Included in this diversified product line are RFID applications, endㅡtoㅡend food safety systems, GPS/Satellite communications,...."

 

이처럼 생산회사(ADS) 와 판매회사(VCC) 모두가 위성으로 추적 된다 합니다. VeriChip 내부에 장거리 송.수신 기술을 담당하고 있는 Digital Angel 회사에서 위성과 송수신을 하고 있음을 밝힌 Digital Angel 보고서를 내일 올리겠습니다. 

 

2009년 11월 10일에 Applied Digital Solutions 본사가 VeriChip 북미주 유통회사 ‘VeriChip 회사’와 ‘Steel Vault 회사’ 회사를 합병하여 만든 회사가 PositiveID 회사이다. 지난날 VeriChip회사는 VeriChip 유통시장을 북미주에만 국한되었었다. 그러나 VeriChip을 이름을 PositiveID로 바꾸어서 유통시장을 전 세계로 넓힌 것이 새로 합병한 PositiveID 회사이다.
